This cohort represents the starting group for each session year, marking the beginning of their STEM leadership journey in the junior cohort. At this stage, students take on the role of mentees, learning leadership by observing and following examples, a crucial skill in becoming effective leaders. Both Level 1 cohorts will participate in sessions that combine STEM concepts with hands-on leadership experiences and leadership studies. The program provides immersive, STEM-focused experiential learning, allowing students to engage in and lead local, national, and global projects. Through these experiences, students will drive positive change in their communities while building the skills necessary to become future leaders.

The Leadership Development Program, for ages 8–18, offers hands-on STEM learning and community project involvement to foster future leaders. Participants gain exposure to global STEM opportunities and are encouraged to pursue higher education and career goals.

Session Overview

Level 1 Program Overview: Starting November 16, 2025, in-person sessions will be held monthly on the first Saturday (10:00 am or 11:00 am, 2 hours). Students can also join unlimited 1-hour STEM sessions after school and on weekends. Weekend activities (2 hours) include mentorship, industry talks, and leadership training. Participants will collaborate on STEM projects. Register by November 30 to receive the full schedule.

Student Mentorship

All students will receive mentorship and connect with STEM professionals to support their growth. Senior students can mentor juniors, building leadership skills. Participants will also explore real-world STEM challenges and career opportunities.

Program Fees

A one-time application fee of $59 covers the full 8-month 2025/2026 program. A monthly admin fee of $49.99 applies. All STEM sessions, clubs, and special programs are unlimited and free of extra charge. Fees also include a personal A3 Microsoft license and Data Science tools.
